Exploring Full Load Psychrometry: A Cool Journey into HVAC Engineering

Just a while back, I had the incredible opportunity to conduct a training session for the esteemed consultancy company, TCGI, right here in the heart of the Philippines. Picture this: a room filled with a dynamic mix of seasoned mechanical engineers and fresh faces eager to absorb every ounce of HVAC wisdom I could offer.

As I stood before this eager audience, I couldn't help but feel a surge of excitement knowing that I was about to embark on a journey of knowledge sharing and skill enhancement. The topic at hand? None other than full load psychrometry – a cornerstone concept in the realm of HVAC engineering.

Throughout the session, we explored the intricacies of psychrometrics, delving into the relationships between temperature, humidity, and other key parameters that govern the behavior of air. From understanding the psychrometric chart to mastering the calculations involved in determining air properties at full load conditions, we left no stone unturned.

But here's the real kicker: at the end of the presentation, I decided to put their newfound knowledge to the test – quite literally! During the past few days (August 19-21, 2013) when the Philippines had been battered by torrential monsoon rains that was enhanced by the  tropical storm Maring (International name 'Trami') that brought floods to about 60% of the nations capital, I began to think about what would be a good topic to do next for my blog.
